By train
Eurocity to Bolzano. From Bolzano take local train for Merano. From Merano station take the Bus 1B or 4 to the Botanical Gardens.
By bus
The Touriseum is easily reached with the town bus service. Number 4 and number 1B run from the town centre to the terminus “Botanischer Garten” at intervals of 20 to 30 minutes. Tickets are cancelled on board in green machines. Individual tickets, and those valid for several journeys, cannot be purchased on board from the driver, but only at counters in the railway station, in tobacconists shops and in yellow ticket machines. There is a ticket machine directly in front of the entrance building to the overall complex - ‘The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle’.
By plane
Air Alps run six scheduled flights daily from Rome to Bolzano and one scheduled flight daily from Innsbruck to Bolzano. Nearest airports: Innsbruck, Brescia, and Munich.
