Guide books and maps
Over the years many publications were developed to help tourists find their way around. These included rail maps, local maps, hikers' maps, road maps, and panorama maps. The Touriseum collection represents a cross-section covering the period from 1850 to 1950. There is a separate reading-room dedicated to guide books. Reprints of about 15 of these are available for visitors to dip into.
