29 March: Sissi afternoon at the Touriseum

One week after the opening of the Touriseum and the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle comes the first major event of the year, the Sissi afternoon. On Saturday, 29 March from 1.30 p.m. onwards, visitors will be welcomed to a literary and musical event with Brigitte Hamann, Josef Rohrer, Elena Righi and the “Herbert Pixner Project”. |

The programme for the Sissi afternoon: 1.30: musical opening with the “Herbert Pixner Project” (Katrin Aschaber, harp; Werner Unterlercher, double bass; Herbert Pixner, harmonica and clarinet) 2.00: Brigitte Hamann, Sissi’s best-known biographer, recounts the Empress Elisabeth’s numerous travels 2.45: music with the “Herbert Pixner Project” 3.30–4.00: author Josef Rohrer and Elena Righi from the Folio publishing house recount and read stories from the book “Sissi in Meran. Kleine Fluchten einer Kaiserin“ (An Empress Flees) in German and Italian. Note: entry to the Sissi afternoon is included in the ticket price for the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle.
